Rules Exams are Live – How to find and take them.

Completed exams for both NFHS rules and Youth rules are required for new and returning officials to be certified.  All officials must be certified to work games through ILOA.  These exams are administered by US Lacrosse through their Central Hub located on ArbiterSports.com.

Here is how to find the exams and download a copy:

  • Log in to ArbiterSports.com
    • New officials:  access to ArbiterSports is granted  when you join US Lacrosse.  Enter the same username and password that you logged into USL with.
    • When logging in to ArbiterSports, choose “US Lacrosse” under “Organization Name”.  If you are already logged in as an ILOA official, simply select “Switch Views” at the upper right of your screen, followed by “US Lacrosse”.
  • At the main page of the USL Central Hub, choose “Testing” under the header graphic, then “US Lacrosse Exams” in the gray bar just below that.
  • Under the “Open Tests” section, look for
    • 2016 US Lacrosse Boys Youth Rules Test,  and
    • 2016 US Lacrosse – NFHS Boys Lacrosse Rules Test *ANNUAL USL BOYS OFFICIALS CERTIFICATION EXAM*
  • Select “Take Test” for one of the above, and you will see a link in the middle to open/download a PDF file containing the exam.  We highly recommend that you print a copy of the exam and take it offline (it’s open book!).  When you are finished, you can then return to the same webpage above to enter your answers.
  • Repeat for the other exam.

Good Luck!
